JOB DETAILS:
Chief Superintending Engineer (Electrical)

Requirements for Appointment
• Be a Kenyan Citizen;
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or its relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
• Registration by the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK);
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or its relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution will be an added advantage; and
• Have demonstrated a high degree of administrative ability, professional and technical competence, as reflected in work performance and results.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for planning of inspections, repair and maintenance programmes for electrical services;
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly progress reports; and
• Periodic site inspection visits to ascertain adherence to electrical specification/standards and work progress.
