The Kenya Medical Women's Association (KMWA) is a membership organization for female doctors and dentists in Kenya. It is a nongovernmental organization registered in 1983. Our mission is to champion for the improved health and dignity of society, particularly women, girls and vulnerable groups. We work to advance health innovations, research and policies that address health inequalities and contribute to socio-economic development. We inspire and mentor young women to undertake and advance in health leadership at national and global arena.

Purpose of Job:
To lead the Secretariat and manage a growing team delivering on pioneering projects, advocacy and research, campaigns and other initiatives in Kenya,
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Strategic and Operational Management and Planning
• Organizational Development and Reporting
• Resource Mobilization/Financial Management / HR Management
• Partnerships/Relationship Management
• Advocacy and Representation
Qualifications and Competencies:
The ideal candidate should have a university degree in medicine, business administration, commerce, or any other relevant discipline, A master's degree in a relevant discipline is an added advantage; MPH is highly desirable. Must have a minimum five (5) years of relevant working experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a diverse team or in a similar organization, The candidate must have strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate should demonstrate maturity, courtesy, team-work and ability to work under minimal supervision.
