JOB REF: MN 7733 Our client is a not-for-profit organisation focused on developing and supporting initiatives which focuses on improving the livelihoods of the bottom of the pyramid producers and consumers in Africa. Special emphasis is put on supporting vocational training and development of skilled manpower for Agriculture in Africa and also on programs in food production, renewable energy and water availability for people in semiarid areas of Africa.
They believe that the modernization of agriculture and improvement in food security in Africa can be greatly enhanced by effective practical training, adequate dissemination of knowledge and technology and the provision of business support services. They strive to increase agricultural productivity in an economically and environmentally sustainable manner and has the ambition to lead a process of mainstreaming formal Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Agriculture (ATVET) through its apprenticeship models.
They now wish to recruit a Chief Executive Officer to spearhead their mandate.
