JOB DETAILS:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Participate in implementation and review of Education Policies and strategies;
• Coordinate proper implementation of ECDE curriculum;
• Facilitate inspection and supervision of ECDE centers;
• Assist inspection and supervision of co-curricular activities for ECD
• Conduct training needs assessment;
• Prepare reports and submit to relevant authorities;
• Coordinate training, mentoring, and evaluating ECDE teachers;
• Do research and disseminate information on ECDE development issues;
• Coordinate development of regulations on establishment of new ECDE centres in the County;
• Plan and coordinate ECDE Programmes;
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance against set targets.
• Perform additional duties as directed by controlling officer

Requirement for Appointment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
• Have knowledge and relevant work experience of not less than Four (4) years;
• Successful applicant to meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution on Leadership and Integrity;
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance results.
