JOB DETAILS:
Are you a Carbon Ops Director who has experience in monitoring and evaluating carbon offsetting projects? Do you have basic knowledge of carbon methodologies and protocols, global carbon policy and carbon standards? If so, you could be just the person our client is looking for!
To ensure you’re the right person for our client, you need a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and in an ideal world you will also have a Master’s degree and/or MBA. You need to have at least 4 years of experience in project management as well as robust quantitative experience. If you have experience in operations and P&L management for B2B and B2C clean-energy product distribution or hand-on carbon offsetting, this will definitely make your application stand out from the rest. You need to have a strong technical background, familiarity with the design and management of carbon offset projects and superb analytical skills. As the Carbon Ops Director, your responsibilities will include creating monthly reports for the senior management team, identifying solutions for challenges as they arise in distribution, staffing and partnerships, monitoring the global carbon market and identifying potential opportunities and pitfalls, representing the company at global carbon conferences and meetings, and increasing the company’s carbon offsetting to new geographical territories and new products. Additionally, this role includes international travel 25% of the time.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• Master’s degree is beneficial
• MBA is beneficial
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• 4+ years of experience in project management
• 4+ years of monitoring and evaluation experience – ideally for a carbon offsetting project
• Basic knowledge of carbon methodologies and protocols, global carbon policy, and carbon standards
• Robust quantitative experience
• Experience in operations and P&L management for B2B and B2C clean-energy product distribution is beneficial
• Hands-on carbon offsetting experience is beneficial
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities will include supporting the improvement and scale of data capture at the end consumer distribution point, increasing the carbon offsetting footprint, management of carbon database, measuring specific social and environmental impact metrics through surveys and home observations, carbon offset issuance, and creating monthly reports for the senior management team.

• Ability to work and liaise with various teams and stakeholders
• Ability to speak French and or Portuguese is beneficial
