Nation Media Group PLC has presence in East and Central Africa with operations in print. broadcast and digitalmedia. We are seeking to recruit Business Managsrs- Digital in the Advertising department. He/she will report to a Commercial Manager and will be expected to formulate and coordinate advertising plans and implement them to ensure achievement of the revenue obiectives for the Group, by providing advertising solutions to customers across the different print and digital products.

Key responsibilities and duties:

•  Plan and coordinate advertising sales stratefles for print 8| digital, while keeping in mind the brand profiles and products, to meet the Group's business objectives;
  
•  Grow revenue market shares across the sectors for the brands and products:
  
•  Negotiate annual advertising contracts with representatives of major advertising clients and companies;
  
•  Build relationships and facilitate client engagements:
  
•  Identify manpower requirements and liaise with HR for recruitment:
  
•  Manage performance of team members;
  
•  Develop innovative ideas for existing and new products in close liaison with team members:
  
•  Assist the Business Executives in scaling up business opportunities while offering clients relevant solutions:
  
•  Develop and orient the team to ensure understanding of brands, products 8| properties;
  
•  Ensure talent management and reviews:
  
•  Determine the contribution of each Business Executive, plan for the delivery of agreed targets and closely monitor performance by holding regular meetings with the team while planning for consistent performance:
  
•  Provide regular reports on teams project performance, market intelligence and trends:
  
•  Review debt status and guide teams on management of client's account status, so as to improve collections on monthly basis.
  

Knowledge, Skills and experience requirements:

•  Degree in any Business related field:
  
•  3 years experience in a commercial environment sales & marketing preferably in a media setting:
  
•  Ability to communicate both inside and outside the organization;
  
•  Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills Leadership, strategy, analytical and commercial skills
  
•  Ability to cultivate long standing client relationships.
