Business Development Officers

Key Responsibilities
o Client Acquisition - Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking, referrals, and cold calling to build a robust client portfolio.
o Relationship Management - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.
o Sales Strategy - Collaborate with the team to design and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
o Market Research - Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and areas for growth.
o Proposal Development - Prepare and present compelling proposals and quotations to prospective clients.
o Client Retention - Work closely with the customer service team to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
o Reporting - Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and provide regular reports to management.

Qualifications and Requirements
o Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Insurance or a related field.
o Certificate of proficiency (COP)
o A minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in Bancassurance or insurance field
o Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably within the insurance industry.
o Strong knowledge of insurance products and services is an added advantage.
o Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
o Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
