Requirements: MINIMUM BACHELOR IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION OR EQUIVALENT. PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF ACHIEVING TARGETS AND DRIVING SALES GROWTH IN A BUSINESS. THE MAIN ROLE OLF A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE IS TO IDENTIFY SALES LEADS, PITCH OUR MEDIA TO NEW CLIENTS AND MAINTAIN A GOOD WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH EXISTING AND NEW CLIENTS. THIS IS DONE BY FOLLOWING UP NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND SETTING UP MEETINGS. PLANNING AND PREPARING PROPOSALS FOR CLIENTS.

Experience: MINIMUM TWO TO THREE YEARS OF SALES EXPERIENCE IN A SERVICE INDUSTRY.

Salary: KSHS. 50,000 - 80,000

OTHER DUTIES INCLUDE:- MAKE CALLS TO ARRANGE MEETINGS WITH POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO PROSPECT FOR NEW BUSINESS BY PITCHING USING THE COMPANY PROFILE. UNDERSTAND THE NEEDS OF YOUR BUSINESS CUSTOMERS AND COME UP WITH PROPOSALS ON HOW THEY CAN USE OUR MEDIA TO FULFIL THEIR MARKETING REQUIREMENT. RESEARCH THE MARKET TRENDS ON CONSUMER SPEND AND APPROACH CLIENTS STRATEGICALLY.
MEET THE SET SALES TARGETS SET MONTHLY, QUARTERLY AND YEARLY AND EARN COMMISSIONS SET ON THE TARGETS. PRESENT OUR MEDIA VERY FAVOURABLY AND IN A STRUCTURED PROFESSIONAL WAY FACE-TO-FACE. LISTEN TO CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS AND PRESENT APPROPRIATELY TO MAKE A SALE. MAINTAIN AND DEVELOP RELATIONSHIPS WITH EXISTING CUSTOMERS IN PERSON AND VIA TELEPHONE CALLS AND EMAILS AND OFFICE VISITS.
RESPOND TO INCOMING EMAIL AND PHONE ENQUIRIES. ACT AS A CONTACT BETWEEN A COMPANY AND ITS EXISTING AND POTENTIAL MARKETS. NEGOTIATE THE TERMS OF AN AGREEMENT AND CLOSE SALES. CREATE DETAILED PROPOSAL DOCUMENTS, OFTEN AS PART OF A FORMAL BIDDING PROCESS WHICH IS LARGELY DICTATED BY THE PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMER.
NEGOTIATE ON PRICE, COSTS, DELIVERY AND SPECIFICATIONS WITH CLIENTS AND INTERNAL OPERATIONS TEAM. LIAISE WITH TRAFFIC TO CHECK ON THE PROGRESS OF EXISTING JOBS. REPRESENT THE COMPANY AT TRADE EXHIBITIONS, EVENTS AND AGENCY MEET UPS.
REVIEW YOUR OWN SALES PERFORMANCE, AIMING TO MEET OR EXCEED TARGETS. ATTEND TEAM MEETINGS AND SHARE BEST PRACTICE WITH COLLEAGUES.
