Education
• Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Transport Engineering or Planning. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Work Experience
• A minimum of 2 years experience working in an international organization in transport policy and planning is required.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment and establishing working partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders is desirable.
• Experience in design and implementation of urban mobility projects is desirable.
• Progressively responsible for coordinating and managing activities related to urban mobility / road safety projects is desirable.
Languages
• Fluency in English (both oral and written), one of the working languages of the UN Secretariat, is required; knowledge of French, the other working language is desirable. Knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.
