JOB DETAILS:
Assistant Water Engineer
REF: CG/KLF/CPSB/ADVERT/5/4/8/22

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:-
• Carrying out feasibility studies
• Planning and designing water supply and sewerage infrastructures
• Carrying out research activities in various aspects of water, sewerage and hydraulic systems
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-
• A Diploma in Civil Engineering/Water Engineering or related field from a recognized institution
• Be registered by the Engineers Board of Kenya
• Have a Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale:25,470 — 33, 950 p.m.
Other Allowances: As per guidelines issued by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission

Level of Education: Associate Degree
