JOB DETAILS:
A well-established tea company operating in Mombasa is seeking to recruit a qualified candidate for the position of Assistant Tea taster/ Marketer.

The Position is:

• Responsible for determination of tea quality through objective tea tasting and reporting.
• Responsible in promoting tea sales to different clients and establishing competitive contracts.
• Establishing marketing initiatives within the organization while researching on tea trends from production to demand from markets.
• Responsible for setting up staff targets.
•  Responsible for working to develop tea sales management, marketing, communication, and customer service.

The Person

• Must demonstrate excellent people skills.
• Should possess a University degree from a recognized institution.
• Marketing qualification is desirable.
• Having some experience in modern tea manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
• Must have good negotiation skills
• Must have a high level of confidentiality.
• Should possess leadership skills and ability to work with diverse teams and in a multi-cultural setting.
• Should be confident, decisive and capable of portraying a superior corporate image.
• Must be willing to travel long distances to work away from the office.
