Assistant Social Development Officer III- CPSB 11 (2 Posts)

Duties and responsibilities
Reporting to senior officer, the duties and responsibilities at this level will entails:-
• Counselling
• Handling social problems.
• Help to facilitate communication between deaf or hard of hearing students, customers, employees, clients and other people either in one-onone setting or group situations.
• Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements for Appointment
For direct appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;
• Diploma in any of the following disciplines; Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Mental Health, Counselling or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Certificate in computer application skills.
• Certificate in Kenya Sign Language.
