(a) Tourism And Marketing Section

4. Assistant Marketing Officer, JOB GROUP CPSB 09 (1 POST)
The Officer reports to the Senior Marketing and creative Officer and be responsible for activities pertaining marketing of Tourism in the County. Together with the Supervisor, the Officer will be charged with overall responsibility of promoting tourism through online publicity and marketing.

Duties And Responsibilities
• Develop and manage departmental website and social blogs
• Undertake online marketing and publicity of tourism products.
• Design promotional materials for Tourism marketing.
• Develop materials for tourism exhibitions and trade fairs and events and
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisors.

Requirements For Appointment
• Be a Kenyan Citizen.
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management, Commerce, Marketing,
• Information Technology, Public Relations or any other related field.
• At least one (1) year of experience in relevant field.
• Be computer literate and conversant with Computer packages. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication and persuasive skills.
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership
• and Integrity.

Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority
Clearance from the Ethics & Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
e. Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
