JOB DETAILS:
Main Purpose of Job
To facilitate risk assessment and analysis for appropriate interventions of identified risks to revenue; Domestic Taxes and Customs and Border Control Departments.
Key Performance Areas
• Supervise officers performing risk assessment and identification activities on a day to day basis
• Planning analysis of “Macro” and operational Business Impact Analysis and to prioritize response within revenue departments Customs and Border Control and Domestic Taxes.
• Maintain contact and interaction with databases for functional for operations to identify and monitor risks for Customs & Border Control and Domestic Taxes.
• Follow-up any identified remedial actions for purposes of continuous improvement of risk identification and monitoring in Revenue.
• Risk identification relating to Business and Trade data to identify risks, threats and exposures for Revenue.
• Any other duties assigned by the Manager.
Minimum Academic Requirement
• University degree in a Business Related field, e.g. Economics Accounting / Finance
• Diploma in revenue administration such as Domestic Taxes and Customs & Border Control is an added advantage
Specialist Training and Membership to Professional Association
• Professional membership of a Professional Body.
• Membership to Professional Institution on Risk is an added advantage.
Minimum Years of Relevant Experience
• Have at least 3 years’ experience in supervising or leading a team in an organization
• Experience in handling risk management in an operational area in an organization.
