JOB DETAILS:
A medium size SACCO is seeking to fill a vacant position of Assistant ICT Manager. Reporting to the ICT Manager, the Assistant ICT manager will have the overall responsibility of managing operations of the SACCO's ICT function. .

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide General IT Support that includes
• Document software and hardware changes
• Create system maintenance
• Perform Backups and testing Monitor and maintain server uptimes and networks
• Provide IT Security
• Ensure the best security practices are followed
• Enforce security policies
• Manage hardware, networks and support IT system
• Provide support for other peripheral equipment such as printers and user computers, CCTVs etc
• Support IT governance

Education and Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent from a recognized university
• At least 3 years experience as an Assistant ICT Manager.
• Professional qualification in Cisco. Oracle, Microsoft, ISACA certifications
• Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to handle a range of systems-related
• Extensive experience in hardware and software support and management
• Unquestionable Integrity and strong ethical standards
