JOB DETAILS:
Job Requirements
i. Be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in the following discipline Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Marketing or related field from a recognized institution in Kenya
ii. Be a holder of a master’s degree in Tourism Management, Marketing or a related field from a recognized institution
iii. Member of recognized professional Marketing or Tourism body
iv. Must have relevant knowledge and experience of not less than 3 years in a related area
v. Demonstrate professional competency in work performance and result
vi. Must satisfy requirement of Chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010

Job Description
i. Develop a strategic plan, annual work plan and align them to the County Integrated Development Plan
ii. Assist in Coordination and management of all forms of tourism activities to market Nairobi as a destination
iii. Prepare monthly reports,
iv. Work with stakeholders in the industry to establish development strategies, programme, policies to promote tourism
v. Develop a framework for production and management of tourism products within the county.
vi. Develop and implement a tourism marketing plan
vii. Overseeing/designing and printing of marketing publications
viii. Gather and prepare periodic progress report for the department
iv. Perform any other related duty that maybe assigned.
