JOB DETAILS:
Salary Range KES 30,000 to 45,000
The Assistant Accountant is tasked with book keeping experience, data entry and basic accounts preparation for the company.
Note;
Candidate should preferably have experience in the FMCG industry and specifically, as an Accountant dealing with beverage.

Responsibilities
They report directly to the Chief Accountant and do the following tasks;
• Data entry using electronic computer systems including, but not limited to, DMS, Tally and Excel,
• Prepare basic accounting reports under the direction of the Chief Accountant,
• Prepare statutory payment reports for Taxation, NHIF, NSSF , and any other statutory payments required of the company,
• Review and reconcile accounts of the company including suppliers accounts, debtors/creditors accounts, VSM accounts, bank accounts, and any other accounts as directed by the Chief Accountant,
• Prepare accounting statements under the direction of the Chief Accountant,
• Perform any other accounting or book keeping tasks as directed by the Chief Accountant and in line with company policies.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have the following;
• A CPA Section IV qualification or its equivalent,
• Experience in a high-pressure accounting department, preferably for a distributor in the FMCG industry,
• Ability to use a variety of modern accounting and ERP systems,
• Highest level of integrity
