Almasi Beverages Ltd is the holding company of Almasi Bottlers Ltd and deals with manufacturing and distribution of the Coca—Cola range of beverages which include, carbonated soft drinks (Soda), Minute Maid juices and VAD, Dasani and Keringet waters and Energy drinks such as Monster 8

ABL/HR/JAD-002/18: AREA SALES MANAGER
The Role.
Based In our Rift valley, Mount Kenya or Kisii markets and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. Responsible for management of Key Distributor effectiveness & operating standards, effectively managing the pull and push strategy through the product supply chain to ensure achievement of sales volume and revenue targets, ensuring top of class execution standards for agreed P|COs in the market through proper and effective supervision and empowerment of Account Developers and Route Salesmen. The role drives the achievement of daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales volume and revenue targets and ensures that this is done with the aid of a robust sales force automation (SFA) system. The successful candidate will also be responsible for total trade development in his/her market and will be accountable for and not limited to new outlet creation and development to gain numerical distribution and secure market share. He I she will develop by way of training and coaching teams placed under him and regularly appraise their performance against established key performance indicators.
The Person
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors‘ Degree in sales and marketing or a bachelors‘ degree in any other field plus professional qualifications in sales and marketing. Minimum 5 years’ experience in selling, three (3) of which must be as a Sales Manager in a fast moving consumer goods and busy organization. Experience in an organization operating within an ERP environment will be an added advantage. He/she must possess a valid driving license with not less than 3 years continuous driving experience.
