JOB DETAILS:

Duties and Responsibilities
• Implementation of agricultural projects and programmes related to crop production; preparation of all reports and data related to crop production;
• Disseminating appropriate environmental and land use practices to farmers in crop production;
• Advising farmers on appropriate technology in crop production;
• Follow up and backstopping on crop related activities;
• Preparation and implementation of work plans and budgets related to crop production;
• Promoting collaboration among stakeholders in the delivery of agricultural services;
• Coordinate the organization of field days, exhibition and shows.

Requirements for Appointment
• Kenyan Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields; - Agriculture, Food science, Horticulture, Agriculture Economics, Natural Resource Management, Agribusiness, Agriculture Extension, Agricultural Education or any other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
• Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution


Job Experience: No Requirements

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
