Accreditation officer, Calibration Labs
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the selected candidate will entail:
1. Implementing, policies procedures for maintenance of an internationally recognized management system for accreditation;
2. Assessing conformity assessment bodies for competence;
3. Updating the register of the accreditation status of conformity assessment bodies;
4. Developing materials for promoting the use of regional and international accreditation marks on certificates or reports issued by conformity assessment bodies;
5. Reviewing and commenting on national, regional and international documents, standards and regulations; and
6. Collecting and collating the client’s feedback on accreditation activities
Academic and Professional Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Science related fields from a recognized institution;
2. Proficiency in Computer application; and
3. Fulfil the requirement of Chapter Six (6) of the constitution.

• Certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
• Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
• Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
• Clearance from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
• Clearance Certificate from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
