- Trend Analysis & Forecasting: Track evolving movements in ethical commerce, sustainability practices, heritage preservation, and global market receptivity to African goods to inform our partnership strategy.
- Opportunity Identification: Develop sophisticated criteria for evaluating potential partner businesses based on their storytelling potential, quality standards, values alignment, and growth trajectory.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strategically segmented database of prospective partnerships across different categories, regions, and business maturity levels.

- Cultural Bridge-Building: Navigate diverse business customs, communication preferences, and regional considerations with respect and cultural intelligence.
- Partnership Architecture & Execution
- Customized Collaboration Design: Create bespoke partnership frameworks that may include editorial features, artisan spotlights, founder interviews, behind-the-scenes content, limited collections, or cross-promotional campaigns.
- Editorial Integration: Work closely with our content team to develop sponsored content that preserves narrative integrity while fulfilling partner objectives and resonating with our audience.
- Implementation Oversight: Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and creative assets to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze engagement metrics, audience response, and business impact to continuously refine our partnership approach and demonstrate value to participating businesses.
- Curatorial Integrity & Brand Alignment
- Values Guardian: Ensure all potential partnerships align with Airi Handmade's core principles: authentically African-made, thoughtfully scaled, ethically produced, and rooted in meaningful narratives.
- Quality Assurance: Apply discerning judgment to evaluate craftsmanship, design innovation, and production practices of potential partner businesses.
- Representation Balance: Seek diversity across regions, traditions, product categories, and business models to present a comprehensive portrait of African entrepreneurship.
- Narrative Development: Identify the distinctive stories, cultural contexts, and founding philosophies that make each featured business uniquely compelling.
- Strategic Insights & Business Evolution
- Partnership Analytics: Maintain detailed documentation on outreach effectiveness, conversion rates, campaign performance, and partner satisfaction.
- Trend Reporting: Provide regular insights on emerging patterns in African business development, consumer preferences, and marketplace dynamics.
- Platform Innovation: Contribute creative ideas for new content formats, partnership models, or audience engagement strategies based on market feedback and partner conversations.
- Growth Planning: Help shape the evolution of Airi Handmade's business model and expansion strategy through informed recommendations grounded in market realities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You are a relationship-builder with genuine passion for African entrepreneurship and a nuanced understanding of the continent's diverse business landscapes. You possess:
