Account Manager

About the job
Achieve full revenue potential of the account and maximize wallet share complete ownership and primary business driver of all accounts in Africa Evince, communicate, and drive company value to clients

Principal Accountabilities
• Achieve full-scale revenue potential and profitability for accounts handled and maximize wallet share
• Ensure on-time renewals and realization of revenue
• Accurately forecast revenue on an ongoing basis
• Negotiate, execute and manage business agreements with clients
• Project manage cutting edge, research-based data science projects
• Ensure maintenance of MIS with up to date client information
• Work with the marketing team to develop campaigns for the regions
• Ownership of any other deliverable as may be assigned
• Manage learning needs to ensure achievement of key deliverables

Primary Relationships
• The position reports to VP-Customer Success
• This position works closely with the implementation, product, data science and engineering teams
• This position would work closely with the senior management, Leadership teams and C-Suite at our clients.

Best fit profile
• Bachelor's degree (MBA a plus)
• 7-10 years of experience in client-facing / account management/customer advocacy roles
• Experience in IT / SaaS industry a plus
• Experience in interfacing and engaging with CXOs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to articulate opinions and positions
• Ability to hit the ground running with a short training period
• Attention to detail and ability to follow through
• Influencer, credible, and well organized
• Strategic thinker/planner & results-oriented
• Motivated and a drive to excel
