JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary
The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Medical College with regards to monitoring and record keeping of data in relation to International and National Accreditations including MRCP, ACGME among others.
The Academic officer will offer academic administrative support for fellowship programs, supervision of learning on a day-to-day basis as well as support the Associate Dean and Academic Manager in the implementation of the annual PGME program.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate accreditation activities, track progress and keep accurate and up to date records of all the key indicators in each case
• Liaise with the DIO, Program Directors and other individuals in each accredited program to ensure compliance and follow up of outstanding issues for closure
• Liaison with the respective Fellowship Program Chairs, Coordinators and Directors to develop annual calendar of activities. Coordinate a range of logistics in relation to accreditations and fellowships
• Support the planning and implementation of recruitment and selection of fellows through personnel requisition, advertisement, interviewing and onboarding of successful applicants
• Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the proper support is given to the Accreditation
• Support Learning Management Systems for smooth virtual and blended learning processes, as well as efficient and effective utility of electronic assessment platforms
• Establishment and maintenance of program and individual student files and folders in both hard and soft copy versions for regulatory and credentialing purposes
• Monitoring implementation of the accreditation provisos and annual calendar of activities in collaboration with DIO, Program Coordinators and Directors
• Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Manager, Academic Programmes, associate Deans and Program Coordinators

Requirements
• Graduate Degree in Education, Management or Administration, or equivalent from a reputable University
• Professional training and proficiency ICT, Project Management or Administration
• S/he should have worked with a recognizable institution
• Experience working in a fast-paced work environment often with tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to relate well with staff, residents, interns, faculty and hospital staff at all levels
