JOB DETAILS:

BROAD FUNCTION
The Survey Assistant will work in close liaison with the Survey Officer/Technician in undertaking complex field surveys for geospatial data acquisition and ensure timely processing and production of plans from the collected field data.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Undertake cadastral survey for boundary establishment and resolution of boundary disputes.
• Setting out engineering projects undertaken by the Company.
• Drafting both longitudinal and cross sectional profiles from the collected field data.
• Conducting geodetic surveying on the Company dams for dam safety monitoring.
• Acquiring, collecting and gathering geo-spatial data for updating the Company GIS.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, Geospatial Engineering, Geospatial Information Science or any other related field from a recognized institution.

EXPERIENCE
Have a work experience of at least 2 years in similar work environment

SKILLS
Good communications and interpersonal skills

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Associate Degree
