Job Details/Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
• Collecting bodies from wards;
• Admitting bodies at the Farewell Home;
• Documenting and recording of Data;
• Identifying bodies for medico-legal cases;
• Preparing bodies for burial including embalming;
• Cleaning and dressing of bodies;
• Cleaning equipment and instruments used in the Farewell Home; and
• Helping relatives in the identification of unknown bodies.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPOINTMENT
• Must be a Kenyan citizen.
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Mean Grade D (plain) or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Certificate in Mortician course or its equivalent lasting not less than six(6)months from a recognized institution
• Proficiency in computer application.
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya,2010

Applicants are required to get clearance from the following institutions to meet requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya:
• Kenya Revenue Authority
• Higher Education Loans Board
• Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
• Criminal Investigation Department
• Credit Reference Bureau

Job Experience: No Requirements

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: Associate Degree
