JOB DETAILS:
Madrasa Early Childhood Programme-Kenya [MECP-K]. an affiliate of the Aga Khan Foundation East Africa. was founded in the 1980's with the objective of promoting access to quality Early Childhood Development [ECU] and Education for children in Kenya.

MECP-K is looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals with strong personal commitment to the education needs of children to fill in the positions below.

Location: Kisumu and Kisii Counties

Early Childhood Development Programme 0fficers (PO) - 4 posts
The ECU Programme Officers will work under the guidance and leadership of the Region Coordinator and in partnership with County ECU officials to facilitate implementation of programme activities and deliverables. The PU will organize, coordinate and facilitate training of County ECU teams, ECD teachers and provide on—going mentorship and support.

Qualifications and competencies

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development or Education from a recognized university
• Minimum of 3 years‘ experience working in the education sector preferably Early Childhood Development
• Practical knowledge and experience in Child Centered Methodologies
• Demonstrate ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong organizational and report writing skills.
• Good facilitation skills
• Computer literate
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili
• Residing in the above mentioned counties
