Crown Data Analysis and Consultancy Ltd is profit making company fully registered by registrar of companies of Kenya as a data analyzing and project Consultancy Company located in western province of Kenya with its Head office in Makutano town plus a sub-branch in Eldoret. Job Summary Assistant Data analyst will assist in conducting full data analysis of projects to include requirements, activities and design. Assistant Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. The successful candidates will help to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Duty Station: Eldoret and Makutano, Kenya .

Job Responsibilities:
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Job Skills:
• Strong knowledge of reporting packages, databases (SQL), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks) will be desired.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Job Qualifications:
• The applicant for the Assistant Data Analyst job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree in in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Information Management, Statistics or any science as well as business related degree from a recognized university
• Any previous working experience data analysis will be an advantage
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques will be an added advantage.
