JOB DETAILS:
Pursuant to the Constitution of Kenya 2010.235 and Sections 57.58 & 59 of the County Government Act. 2012 the County Government of Isiolo invites qualified Kenyan citizens to fill the position of:-
Members County Public Service Board - THREE (3] POSITIONS

Duties and responsibilities
(i) Assisting in preparation of regular reports for submission to the County Assembly on the execution of the functions of the Board.
(ii) Observing good Corporate Governance Principles in the Performance of duties.
(iii) Ensuring delivery of quality services to the citizens.
(iv) Promoting in the County Public Service the values and principles referred to in Article 10 & 232 of the Constitution of Kenya.
(v) Advising on the appointment of persons to hold or act in the Public County Offices, including on the Boards for Urban areas within the County and to confirm appointments.
(vi) Performing any other duties as assigned by the board.

Academic qualifications and attributes
(i) Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
(ii) Working experience of at least five (5) years.
(iii) Is a professional, demonstrates absence of breach of the relevant professional code of conduct.
(iv) Satisfies the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity.
(v) Should not be a state or public officer.
(vi) Is, or has any time been, the holder of an office in any political organization that sponsors or otherwise supports, or has at any time sponsored or otherwise supported, a candidate for election as a member of parliament of a county assembly.

Terms of service: Six (6) years non-renewable contract
Salaries and other allowances: Payable as per Salaries and Remuneration Commission guidelines.

For candidates to meet the requirements of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya, all applicants must obtain the following:-
(i) Tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority
(ii) Clearance certificate from the Higher Educations Loans Board
(Hi) Clearance certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
(iv) Clearance from the Credit Reference Bureau
(v) Certificate of Good Conduct from Criminal Investigations Department.
