Duties and Responsibilities
• Assisting physically challenged (hearing impaired) individuals understand the proceedings during County Government events and functions;
• Facilitating communication with the hearing impaired through sign language;
• Serve as a liaison between County Government and the special needs community;
• Providing accurate accounts of proceedings in sign language;
• Performing any other duty as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements for Appointment
• Diploma in special needs education
• Certificate in sign language interpretations from a recognized institution
• Must be Computer literate;
• Knowledge in brail writing and reading is added advantage.
• Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable.
