Nutrition And Dietetics Technologist III (2 POSTS)
REF/MCPSB/358/2022

Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre: Duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Implementing Nutrition Programmes
2. Providing Nutrition services in health care facilities;
3. Conducting nutrition assessments
4. Collecting and compiling nutrition data
5. Providing nutrition health education and demonstrations
6. Counselling of patients with specific nutritional needs
7. Monitoring preparation of therapeutic feeds
8. Implementing outpatient and inpatient supplementary and therapeutic feeding programmes
9. Promoting maternal, infant and young children feeding programmes and
10. Providing micronutrient supplementation.

Requirements for appointment
1. Must be a Kenyan Citizen
2. Diploma in Community Nutrition, Clinical nutrition or Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized institution.
3. Certificate in Computer application Skills from a recognized institution.
4. Registration by the Council of the Institute of Nutritionists and Dieticians in Kenya. (CIND)
