JOB DETAILS:
JOB GROUP ‘E’ TWO (2) POST (ADVERT NO. 58/2022)
(a) Duties and Responsibilities
• Collecting and receiving bodies within the hospital and outside through the prescribed procedures.
• Recording bodies received.
• Washing the bodies, embalming and refrigeration.
• Scrubbing and assisting in post mortems.
• Counselling the relatives.
• Releasing the bodies to the relatives as per the laid procedures.
• Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor

(b) Requirements for Appointment
• Must be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID)
• KCSE Certificate
• At least two (2) years relevant work experience in a busy mortuary or a reputable Funeral Home
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong English and Swahili language skills
• Training in embalming and grief counselling will be added advantage

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
