JOB DETAILS:
The Girl Child Network [GCN] is an independent. non—political, non—religious, not for profit membership organization of over 300 organizations that includes key government ministries, departments and individuals working to improve the status of children in Kenya with emphasis on the girl child. The Network was born in 1995 as a follow up of the Beijing Platform for Action and implementation of Article T2, The Girl Child. It is from this that GCN draws its mandate which is to primarily mainstream children activities with a focus on the girl child, in the development sector through advocacy, information sharing, action implementation and strengthening of children programming in Kenya. Within the Education program, GCN is implementing a project, ‘Kenya Equity in Education Project [KEEP]' that aims to increase participation of girls and children with disability in education. The KEEP project is being implemented in Turkana and Kajiado Counties. We invite suitably qualified and experienced candidates to join our dynamic team in the below specified position

Key duties and responsibilities will include and not limited to driving of official motor vehicles, office support services e.g. deliveries and activity implementation support

Qualifications and Experience
Holds a valid driving license B,C,E, Certificate in Mechanic Grade Il [Two] or its equivalent, Computer literate e.g. Ms Word, MS Excel, at least flve[5] years driving experience, a team player, adaptable and able to relate with people from diverse backgrounds, holder of a KCSE certificate, good written and spoken English and Kiswahili; any other certificate will be an added advantage.
