JOB DETAILS:

Requirements
• Christian commitment and practice
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or its equivalent from an accredited University
• Three (3) years professional experience with evidence of clinical teaching
• Additional training or certification in the relevant area will be an added advantage.
• Valid practicing licence from the Nursing Council of Kenya

Responsibilities
• Participate in curriculum and program review and development for Clinical learning.
• Provide learning and supervision for Nursing students during skills and simulation lab classes and in clinical placement for Curriculum implementation.
• Organize a master rotation plan for clinical placement in liaison with the respective School of Nursing heads of department.
• Collaborate in building linkages and liaison with management of clinical sites for effective learning.
• Develop change initiatives for clinical placement to achieve desired program goals.
• Implement professional practice in clinical learning and research .
• Monitor and evaluate students learning for patient centered care in clinical learning.
• Mentor students in academic and spiritual nurture during clinical placement.
• Ensure consistent demonstration by students during clinical placement of the lived Christian values in line with the university’s vision.
