JOB DETAILS:
Assistant Security Officer l - Grade 8 Two (2) Positions MSU/ADM/SEC/02/22

Requirements for appointment
1. Bachelor’s Degree/ Higher Diploma in Criminology/Security Science or its equivalent from a
2. recognized institution.
3. Three (3) years cumulative relevant work experience at the level of Sergeant/Warrant Officer in the Kenya Police Service/Kenya Defense Forces with a clear discharge certificate.
4. Proficiency in relevant computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. General Security duties Beat/Patrol;
2. Assist in prevention and detection of crime and other related frauds in the University;
3. Preserving the scenes of crime, initial investigation in area of supervision;
4. Investigating frauds and crime related matters;
5. Overseeing guards assignment and operations in the University;
6. Prepare and submit periodic reports to the In-charge of Security;
7. Implement safety and security measures
8. Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
