Our inventive teaching methods are available both on Campus and via the Distance Learning Platform; these facilitate lectures and tutorials, as well as practical classes, flipped classroom and guided learning sessions with transferrable skills, which are occupation-specific to meet employers’ immediate needs. These courses and training are taught by our American, Canadian, British and other European teachers via our Online Live Software, assisted by our Hano Academy campus based Kenyan teachers.

Furthermore, we provide weekly Crush Classes, taught by our Kenyan teachers, and Somali-English bilingual tutors, during which students receive help and detailed explanation on the points they have difficulty in understanding. Our higher-educated team of academic and vocational specialists brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Hano Academy to benefit your further education and/or skills training. The team is united by a common goal of improving and enabling learners to achieve and maximize their education and employment potential.

· A Little About Us
- The groundwork of Hano Academy began back in August 2011 when Dr. Sadiyo Siad’s philanthropy work as the founder and CEO of Eva Organization for Women (aka EOW-Charity) led her to go back to Somalia to do humanitarian aid work for drought and famine victims. While Dr. Siad was in Somalia, she carried out a pilot project by empowering youth and women. Since then, we have been operating on a low scale and conducting thorough research (in Somalia, stretching up to other Somali regions including Hargeisa and Jigjiga in Ethiopia) on the situation of unemployment among youth and the inability of women to sustain themselves financially. After the successful research on empowerment, education, and employment (also known as the ‘Es’); we realized that many youths and women suffer because of abject poverty. On the other hand, the education system in Somalia does not prepare the learners for the future in the job market. The lack of innovation and the use of the outdated rote method has led to the churning out of half-baked graduates who cannot survive in the current competitive global workplace.
