TEACHERS SERVICE COMMISSION

The Teachers Service Commission was established under Article 237 of the Constitution as a Constitutional Commission with the mandate to register trained teachers, recruit and employ registered teachers, promote and tra nsfer teachers, assign teachers employed by the Commission for teaching services in any public school, exercise disciplinary control over trained teachers .

The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Secondary Education Quality Improvement Project [SEQIP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply, Delivery, lnstallation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Virtual learning Infrastructure In the SEQIP Targeted Schools.

To achieve its constitutional mandate through the support of the Kenyan Government and the World Bank, the Commission invites interested and eligible bidders/tenderers to participate in these tenders through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids [RFB] as specified in the World Bank's 'Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" of July, 2016 ('Procurement Regulations"), which is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations and National Open Tender as regulates by the Procu rement Law in Kenya.

Detailed Tender documents may be obtained from Supply Chain Management Seivices Division , the TSC House 2nd floor Podium Wing, Kilimanjaro Road, during normal working hours upon payment of non-refundable fee of Kshs.1,000.00 (One Thousand Shillings] payable to Teachers Service Commission at National Bank of Kenya Account No. 01001000905000,Harambee Avenue Branch or Bankers Cheque and present the bank slip to TSC Cash office for official receipt.

Interested bidders may access the tender documents from TSC website: www.tsc.go.ke or the Public Procurement Information Portal [PPIP] www.tenders.go.ke free of charge. Bidders are required to provide their details by registering with the Supply Chain Management Seivices Office by forwarding their particul ars through email to ddprocurement@tsc>.go.ke.The particulars should include: Name of the firm, address, Tender Na me and Telephone number.

Complete bid documents [asper the instructions provid ed in the tender documents] enclosed in plain sealed envelopes and clearly marked with the Tender Number and tender description should be addressed to:

Bulky documents shall be delivered and registered at the office of the Head of Procurement , Supply Chain Management Seivices on 2nd Floor, Podium Wing, TSC House.

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at TSC House 3rd Floor Podium Wing in the presence of tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend .

Late tenders will be rejected .
