The HQ Power project is a 70MWe peat fired power plant situated in Rwanda. The five—year agreement with Fortum covers the operation and maintenance [0&M] services of this new plant including technical senrices and IT tools needed for the operations. This operation is called HQ Services Ltd which is also responsible for the mobilization phase of the new power plant. The site area is one of the most remote areas in Rwanda, located close to the Burundian border. The construction of the power plant is ongoing and should be completed by early 2020.
