JOB DETAILS:
Our client a leading electronics distributor in East Africa is seeking to fill the role of a Retail Manager.
The Retail Manager will be in charge of the designated outlet/branch and is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service as well as monitoring the financial performance of the branch/outlet.

Retail Manager Job Responsibilities

•  Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff
  
•  Budgeting & maintaining statistical and financial records
  
•  Attend to customer queries and complaints
  
•  Overseeing pricing and stock control
  
•  Maximizing profitability and setting/meeting sales targets
  
•  Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
  
•  Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
  
•  Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
  
•  Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
  
•  Plan and oversee in-store promotions
  
•  Research on the market trends to determine the areas for improvements
  
•  Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
  

Requirements for the Retail Manager Job

•  Degree in business related field
  
•  5 Years’ experience in sales operations (management/ supervisory level) in a busy retail environment
  
•  Business acumen
  
•  Experience in budgeting and financial reporting
