JOB DETAILS:
The Role Holder will be responsible for developing, expanding and maintaining a portfolio of Vehicle Asset Financing in retail and SME business and achieve set budgets within overall Bank objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial:
• This position is responsible for generating revenue and managing costs within the assigned portfolio
Process/ Projects.
• This position is responsible for the successful execution of approved policies and procedures, achieve 100% compliance to stated processes, procedures and SLA.
• The position holder may be required to participate in projects and/or lead projects in his/her branch/location.
Operating Environment.
• The position is based in an office/branch environment.
• The position holder is expected to regularly work outside the office environment, in the field visiting clients and motor dealers with an aim of acquiring asset finance business through the mentioned customer visits.
• Drive the growth of the Asset Finance Book
• Daily Dealer Visit
• Participate in marketing activities within the business area in order to maximize appropriate growth in business
• Create a database of all key clients with assigned dealers to ensure continuous monthly calls/visits.
• Continuously mine data base shared by the line manager of target markets in the area guided by the market demographics/sectors.
Audit, Risk & Compliance
• 100% adherence to policies, procedures, and statutory guidelines.
• Confirm that corrective and preventative actions identified by audit, risk and compliance reviews; investigations or other assessment mechanisms are undertaken within the agreed time frame.
Operational Efficiency:
• Compliance with internal and external regulatory policies and practices maintaining an appropriate level of risk management within the assigned portfolio.
• Zero frauds within the assigned portfolio.

• High marketing and selling proficiency: Ability to undertake sales targeting, sell bank services and meeting sales targets
• Results driven: able to efficiently manage time, meet deadlines and communicate risks, resource needs, and priorities and deliver results.

• Competent in financial management
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to build business relationships and relate well with both internal and external customers.
• Highly computer literate with intermediate level proficiency in MS Office applications; good understanding of banking software and working knowledge of an ERP system.
• Absolute and unquestioned integrity, confidentiality and respect.
• Positive, energetic self-starter with a high level of personal drive and resilience

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
• Additional qualifications in credit, customer service and sales will be an added advantage.
