JOB DETAILS:
Pastry Cook

The position
The Pastry Cook is responsible for baking various pastries, cookies and other baked goods in the kitchen bakery and developing new and unique recipes to feature on the menu.

Duty & Responsibilities
• Operate and manage the pastry section of a kitchen, working together with the other chefs
• Prepare a variety of baked goods
• Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
• Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
• Propose to the kitchen management custom-made baked goods

Qualifications
• Level certificate with Technician certificate in Catering
• At least 2 years’ experience as pastry chef in a busy kitchen
• Computer skills will be an added advantage
• English proficiency
