Product Manager - Energy & Charging

About the role:

We are looking for a Product Manager who will be responsible for planning and carrying out the product launching and gathering information from the customer and users in order to propose new features and enhancements. They will also be responsible for owning the product's roadmap and executing the product strategy agreed with the product owners and the management of the company. The ideal candidate must have over 5 years working experience pushing a product into the market and seeing it succeed.

Key Duties and responsibilities:

  • Understand the Energy & Charging Market in order to engage with enterprises and the public
  • Breakdown the product requirement in user stories 
  • Work with technical teams i.e. electronic and software teams
  • Deliver the product within the set timeline
  • Propose new teammates to facilitate the execution and keep the timeline
  • Lead and organize the product launch with the company's R&D team 
  • Support the marketing team in communication and events
  • Organize training for the employees, partners and users
  • Communicate and prospect the energy and charging products to potential customers. This is not limited to Kenya as we have multi-country flexibility in the architecture.
  • Conduct market research and build a future pipeline and prospects for the product to be handed over to the sales team once the product is commercially available

Qualifications

  • Must have relevant education experience
  • Must have at least 5 years work experience product sales
  • Must be self motivated and goal oriented
  • Must have good communication skills

Content Creator - Consultancy Basis

About the role:

We are looking for a Content Creator to join our communications team as a Consultant. The ideal candidate must be well-organized, self-motivated and a creative digital communications professional. They will be responsible for creating social media and website content that supports the company’s communication with its audiences. They will also support the communication and marketing department in producing engaging, informative, innovative and entertaining content for each of our social platforms and other digital mediums, using a varied mix of video, photography, visual design, and copywriting skills.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the current digital/social media landscape, They should also be a strategic thinker, goal-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, start-up culture.   • Concept, capture, and create visual content for Social Media and other digital mediums using a varied mix of video, photography, visual design, and copywriting skills
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and visual identity
  • Supporting our ad creation pipeline
  • Ship valuable and high-quality work without sacrificing speed
  • Optimize, iterate and identify new creative opportunities
  • Support the social team's growth with insight into trending content on social media
  • Researching industry-related topics and trends
  • Managing and organizing the company content database

Qualifications

  • Must have experience in filming and editing digital videos
  • Must have experience in photography and editing image
  • Must be proficiency with a variety of professional cameras, technologies, and lighting equipment
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Premiere
  • Understanding of all phases of production and post-production
  • Proficiency with features of Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, and other social platforms
  • Comfortable in front of a camera
  • Flexible, organized, and with strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively when required
  • Ability to create content within project budget and schedule
  • Ability to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to continuously maximize opportunities for growth
  • Outstanding visual content production skills
