JOB DETAILS:
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or any other relevant area of specialization.
• 3 years’ experience at Grade 7 within MKU or at a similar position in a recognized academic institution.

OR
• Higher National Diploma in relevant area of specialization.
• 5 years’ experience at Grade 7 within MKU or at a similar position in a recognized academic institution.

Key responsibilities also include
• Formulate and implement policies governing sports and games.
• Coordinate sporting programs of the university.
• Prepare budget estimates and operational budgets.
• Promote corporate image of the university through various facets of sports.
• Oversee general care and maintenance of games facilities.
• Coach and officiate various games and sports activities.
• Responsible for students going for external fixtures.
• Popularize sports and games activities among students.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by immediate supervisor.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
