JOB DETAILS:
Role Description
The selected person will join the Advocacy and Communication department and will be responsible for identifying a creative concept and drafting engaging content. This position involves working independently when creating copy and in a team to deliver the final product. The copywriter will be a creative, proactive, punctual person, with time management abilities.

Key responsibilities:
• Creation of new, original copy for (not limited to) social media posts, articles, website content, fundraising material in Italian and English.
• Support the Advocacy and Communication department in reviewing and setting up communication guidelines, materials and strategies.
• Integrate the organization's communication plan with Social Media
• Retrieving, proofreading and translating from English to Italian content from field programs or other departments (education and fundraising among others).
• Content optimization (language, tone, message) based on the target audiences

Essential Skills & Requirements
• A degree in Foreign Languages, Linguistics, Media studies, or similar
• At least 2 years of experience as a copywriter with a successful track record or portfolio of powerful copy from past working experience
• Excellent writing skills in Italian and English
• Deep understanding of storytelling, written social media communication and content performance
• Ability to write a strong lead
• Ability to easily adopt organization’s voice
• Ability to write in different styles to communicate effectively with different target audiences
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Communication skills, organization and time management

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
