JOB DETAILS:
The position
• As Communications and Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for development and implementation of internal communication strategies for the organization to ensure that unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the corporate identity and mission of the affiliate and NN as a whole. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring organizational news, initiatives, and projects are successfully communicated across the affiliate and driving and own responsibility for the embedding of NN Corporate Visual Identity (CVI) across the organization. Another tasks include:
• Initiate projects and tools for the VP&GM and Head P&O communication and Leading projects that drive engagement
• Coordinate closely with the BA/SEEMEA communications for all corporate communication campaigns. Support P&O for various communication needs e.g., organizational announcement, organizational changes communications, change mgt, etc.
• Content management and administration of corporate intranet for Middle Africa (SharePoint). Coordination & organization of events for BA employees’ engagement e.g., Quarterly town hall meetings / annual Kick-off meetings/summer and year-end parties.
• Create informative and interesting articles, press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related communications materials to be shared on internal comms sites and external when required. Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials
• Work with the marketing department to generate new communications ideas and strategies and respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner

Qualifications
• We expect that you have a relevant academic degree or a master’s degree from a reputable university, preferably in communications, journalism, or public relations. You have a relevant experience of a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role preferably in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. You have excellent command over both written and spoken English and have a relevant business background. Having proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous, as well as following skills:
• Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
• Knowledge of key communication tools including the use of cameras and design apps is key
• Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Have a passion for driving sustainability initiatives
