CLIENT TECHNICAL REPRESENTATIVE (BUILDING)
Trade and Development Bank Group- TDB Group is a specialized African multilateral financial institution serving most of the Eastern and Southern Africa. The Bank's objective is to provide short, medium and long term fin viable projects and trade finance activities in member states. TDB Group acquired 1.052 acres approximately 4,255 square meters’ parcel of land on Lenana Road, Nairobi, opposite the Sri Lanka High Commission. The Bank has just commenced the construction of its modern High Rise office Building and would like to recruit a Client Technical Representative (CTR) on a fixed term contract as soon as possible.
TERMS OF REFERENCE:
Reporting to the Chief Program Manager (CPM), the role of the CTR is to assist the Project Office achieve its mandate of ensuring the successful construction delivery of the TDB Nairobi Office Development Project. He/She will be technical representative of the client on site and an extension of the project office. Specifically, the Client Technical Representative will perform the functions summarized below:
During Project Construction:
to support the CPM in his role as client during the construction stage especially in site meetings and inspections. The CTR is, as observed on site to report on coordination, timeliness of implementation and program monitoring proper recording and documentation and management of information: noting problems during construction and possible solutions
and reporting to the CPM
Project Completion and handover.
The objective is for this stage is for the
CTR to help CPM ensure successful completion of the project and hand over in good working order with requisite documentation done and submitting requisite reports to the CPM.
