House Allowance As applicable in Nairobi County

a) Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -
i. Developing hardware and software specifications; developing and implementing ICT systems.
ii. Undertaking upgrading of software.
iii. Updating and keeping inventory on Information Communication Technology
activities. iv. Designing, recommending and evaluating systems.
v. Implementing, maintaining and documenting standards of systems.
vi. Maintaining support systems and training of users.
vii. Repairing and maintaining of Information Communication Technology equipment and associated peripherals.

b) Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -
i. Served in the grade of Information Communication Technology Officer I or in a comparable position for a minimum period of four (4) years.
ii. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Technology or its equivalent qualification from recognized institution.
iii. Demonstrated professional competence as reflected in work performance and results iv. A Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
