JOB DETAILS:

Assistant Engineer II (Electrical)

Duties And Responsibilities
• Design of electrical/electronic engineering services in government buildings and construction works;
• Repair and maintenance of electrical/electronic installations in airports, waterworks, offices, workshops,
• conference complexes and other government facilities.

Minimum Requirements and Competencies
For appointment to this grade, an officer must:
• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
• Be registered by Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer.

Salary
• As prescribed by the Salaries & Remuneration Commission (SRC)

Mandatory Integrity Clearance
• Clearance from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
• Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
• Clearance from Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of National Police
• Clearance from the Ethics & Anti–Corruption Commission (EACC)
• Clearance from former employer where applicable.
