Articulated Truck Driver
The primary responsibility of the Truck Driver is to drive the assigned truck in a sale and careful manner and assist in both loading and offloading process.

Key tasks
• To safely drive the articulated truck [loaded or unloaded] as assigned by the supervisor
• To ensure daily inspections on the truck and materials carried and any defects corrected or reported along the reporting line.
• To ensure loads are safely secured! lashed down by use of proper lashing gear following the proper Company established load restraint procedures and work instructions.
• To ensure all logistical data entry requirements relating to the vehicle are captured [e.g. fueling. mileage. gate pass and checklists. project or legislative inspections. etc.]
• inform the supervisor in case the vehicle requires repairs or maintenance
• Keep vehicle clean and neatly store all accessories in their correct place
• Ensure timely completion of job cards
• Ensure commercial documents are signed elf once loads are safely and efficiently delivered [delivery notes etc. .]
• Responsible for own plus other employees ‘safety while at work
• Ensure proper hand over oi vehicle while leaving site.
• Performance other duties as may be assigned by the line supervisor from time to time
