JOB DETAILS:
POSITION: Architect
ROADS, TRANSPORT, ENERGY& PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
UGC/CPSB/ARC/06/21 Architect - JG K

Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 38,270 – 51,170 (CPSB 09)
House Allowance: Ksh.12, 800 pm
Commuter Allowance: KShs. 5, 000 p.m.
Medical Cover: As provided by the County Government
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

Duties and Responsibilities
I) Planning, scheduling and distribution of work;
II) Supervision of staff in an architectural drawing office;
III) Turning Architects' rough sketches into finished drawings, making models, presentation and perspective drawings;
IV) Examination and checking of dimensions, annotations and construction details on all drawings to conform to standards
V) Preparation of production drawings for various county buildings and institutions,
VI) Be responsible for the safety of draining office equipment and supply of drawing Office materials;
VII) Preparation of site inspection reports

Requirement for Appointment
I) Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Architecture, Building/CiviI Engineering, or its equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions.
II) Relevant experience of at least three (3) years; or its equivalent.
III) Must be registered with Engineers Registration Board of Kenya or relevant professional body.
IV) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
