JOB DETAILS:
Section 47 (3) (d) of the County Assemblies Service Act, 2017 provides that the County Assembly Service Board shall consist of ONE MAN and ONE WOMAN appointed by the County Assembly (to serve on a part-time basis) from amongst persons who are experienced in Public Affairs, BUT ARE NOT MEMBERS OF THE COUNTY ASSEMBLY. Consequently, the County Assembly Service Board invites applications from interested persons who are suitably qualified to serve as members of the County Assembly Service Board.

Requirements for Appointment
The applicants must fulfil the following requirements:-
• Must be a Kenyan Citizen.
• Must be a resident of West Pokot County, with knowledge and experience in public affairs BUT NOT a Member of County Assembly.
• Holder of a degree from a University recognized in Kenya.
• Has at least 10 (ten) years of experience in public affairs and public administration.
• Meets the requirements of Leadership and Integrity as clearly stated in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

• Academic certificates and other Testimonials.
• KRA Compliance Certificate.
• Clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
• Certificate of Good Conduct from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
• Clearance Certificate from the Credit Reference Bureau(CRB).
• National ID or Passport and a copy of CV.
• Candidates with Foreign Degrees MUST obtain accreditation from the Commission for University Education of Kenya.
